Royse City – Royse City Police last week made two large drug busts along I-30, seizing nearly $40,000 in cash, prescription drugs, and marijuana.
Two Michigan men were arrested last Wednesday after 40 pounds of marijuana, $1,000 in cash, and a substance believed to be cocaine was found in their vehicle. The men were also carrying a handgun.
The next night, police made another stop and found $37,000 in cash and over 1000 prescription pills. Details on that stop were not immediately available.
