Commerce – The Big Event is just a few days away for Commerce. The annual event will have the Commerce Fire Department installing fire detectors in any home that needs one, the County Barn on North Bois d'Arc Street will be accepting old tires, batteries, and other non-hazardous materials that need to be disposed of, and local authors will be recognized at the City Library. Any volunteers who help clean up at the Big Event are also invited to enjoy live music and a stew lunch at the City Park. Contact the Commerce Chamber at 903-886-3950 for more information.
