Big meth bust in Fannin County

By Kevin Jefferies

Fannin County – The Fannin County Narcotics Unit has busted a large methamphetamine ring that was distributing drugs throughout Fannin, Collin, and Dallas Counties. Nine people were arrested in the two month investigation. $47,000 worth of meth, $19,000 in cash, and two vehicles have also been seized.

The DEA also assisted in the investigation which nabbed some top-level drug traffickers. Investigators believe 5 pounds of meth was being delivered to Fannin County each month for the past two years, with an estimated street value of $186,000 per month.
