Body of missing Paris man found near Roxton

A 37-year-old Paris woman has reported being abducted and later escaping from captivity over the weekend of Dec. 20-21.

A forensics lab in Mesquite identified the decomposed body found Thursday under a bridge on FM 2122 near Roxton as a Paris man, according to Lamar County Sheriff Scott Cass.

The Paris News reports that American Forensics has confirmed the body as that of Tramaine Jarrod Kellum, 27, reported missing to the Paris Police Department by his wife June 10. The last time she had contact with her husband was June 8, according to police records .

Paris police are treating the case as a homicide. They are looking for Kellum's car, a silver 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis, with Texas license plate BX8-P511.
