Bois d'Arc Bash turns 20 this weekend

Commerce – There's going to be plenty to do in downtown Commerce this weekend. The 20th Annual Bois d'Arc Bash gets underway this Friday night with live entertainment filling the square in Commerce. Always the highlight of the event, the Bois d'Arc Bash parade will hit the streets at 10am Saturday and trophies awarded at 12:15.

A youth pageant, wine tasting event, live music, and many other activities will continue throughout the day Saturday, including this year's Motorcycle Fun Run, which is dedicated in memory of David Dickson, a Commerce resident and Greenville Police Officer who died earlier this year.

The Bash runs through Sunday with the Car and Truck Show celebrating its 10th year on the square in Commerce. The show is expected to be very large for the 20th Annual Bois d'Arc Bash, with over 30 cars being brought in by just one antique car group and many more expected.
