Commerce – Disruptions caused by a prank earlier this week in Boston reached all the way to Commerce. The Synergy Brass Ensemble was supposed to perform at Texas A&M University-Commerce last night, but the group couldn't get out of town. That's after Boston-wide disruption when authorities discovered what they thought was a series of bombs.
It turned out to be a marketing stunt by a cable TV show produced by Turner Broadcasting.
The Synergy concert was rescheduled for this coming Monday evening at 7:30 in the music building at A&M-Commerce. The program is part of a new recital and convocation series established by the university's music department.
