Hunt County – Bond has been increased in connection to a Hunt County capitol murder case. Jerry Lynn Phelps, of Wills Point, remains in custody at the Hunt County Jail and has also been charged with one count of aggravated robbery involving the death of Charlene Hoover Jones. Bond had been set at $500,000 on each charge, but was increased to $1 million during a court hearing Tuesday. The victim, Jones, died after being shot multiple times as she worked at the Jackpot Game Room, located between Quinlan and West Tawakoni.
