Greenville – A man charged with driving his car into a Greenville daycare center has had his bond lowered. 43-year-old Richard Whytus originally had bond set at $30,000 on four counts for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for a total of $120,000. A judge lowered the amount to $12,500 on each count for a total of $50,000.
Whytus has pleaded not guilty in connection with the January incident where a Pontiac Firebird was driven into the side of Wee Wisdom Play School in Greenville. Whytus has been accused of being intoxicated at the time of the accident.
