Caddo Mills – Bond has been reduced for a Caddo Mills murder suspect.
47-year-old Randall Douglas Smith was seeking the appointment of an attorney, a reduction in his bond, or both.
On Monday, a judge ordered his bond lowered to $500,000 on the charge. No additional hearings were immediately scheduled.
Smith has been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Gregory Poteet, also of Caddo Mills, earlier this month. A preliminary autopsy report indicated Poteet died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.
