Bonham – The Bonham City Council is scheduled Monday night to consider accepting the resignation of Mayor Pro Tem and Ward Number 3 Brad Underwood.
It was unclear of the reason behind Underwood's resignation.
Council will then consider appointing an individual to fill the vacancy as set forth by city ordinance.
The Bonham City Council will also consider a resolution to adopt an ad valorem tax rate of $0.67 per $100 valuation for the upcoming fiscal year. Tonight's City Council meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
