– Area school districts will continue to tackle budget issues amidst projected cuts during meetings this week.
The Commerce ISD is scheduled to meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the CISD Board Room to address possible cuts ranging from seven to 15 percent for the next school year.
The Bonham ISD will develop a reduction in spending plan for the 2011-2012 school year when they meet at 7 p.m. in the BISD Administration Center Monday.
In Greenville, GISD officials Tuesday will consider offering incentives for employees who give advance notice of their resignations. The meeting takes place from the Wesley Martin Operations Center at 7 p.m.
Also on Tuesday, the Caddo Mills ISD will host a town hall meeting to inform citizens about their budget issues and possible solutions. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday from the High School Gymnasium.
