Greenville – Hunt County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information regarding a recent burglary in Greenville.
The crime occurred between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on December 29 in the 900 block of Rees Street. A suspect or suspects reportedly forced entry into a house and removed a Ruger .270 rifle, a Wichester 12 gauge pump shotgun, a 7.65x54 bolt action rifle, a Ruger 9mm pistol, cash and jewelry. Also taken was a coin collection that included liberty quarters, Morgan dollars, buffalo nickels, and one hundred consecutive serial numbered two dollar bills.
