Two more area counties have been removed from burning restrictions. The ban for Hopkins and Red River counties were lifted Wednesday.
Residents are still advised to use caution when considering to burn trash and debris on their property.
On Tuesday, Hunt County Commissioners elected to remain under a burn ban, citing the significant drought that remains despite recent rains. Lamar County will address whether to keep the restriction in place next week.
In recent weeks, Collin, Grayson, Rains, Rockwall and Van Zandt counties have lifted their bans on outdoor burning.
