The shooting was reported around 9 last night in the 4200 block of Park Street in west Greenville. A female victim at the scene had been shot once in the chest, although it was not clear if the location was actually where the shot was fired. The woman was transported Presbyterian of Greenville and her condition is unknown. No arrests were immediately reported in the shooting.

While on the scene of the shooting, officers received a call of a fight involving as many as 30 people at a convenience store at the corner of Joe Ramsey Boulevard and Sayle Street. One witness said the brawl seemed to have been part of an earlier altercation during the Greenville High School basketball game. No serious injuries were reported.
