Caddo Mills murder suspect again denied bond

By Brad Kellar

Caddo Mills – Bond reduction has again been denied for a Caddo Mills murder suspect.

Randall Douglas Smith's bond was previously cut in half from $1 million to $500,000, but in October he was denied a further reduction. During a hearing Monday Smith's defense attorney sought a drop in bond to $50,000 bond, which was denied. However, the hearing was reset for Dec. 14.

Smith remains in custody, charged with the murder of Gregory Poteet, also of Caddo Mills, in early September.
