Call service provides information about H1N1

By Scott Harvey

– Texas residents with questions regarding the H1N1, or Swine Flu can call 2-11. The Community Action Network is fielding questions about symptoms and where flu vaccine is available.

According to a representative with the service, the H1N1 vaccine is currently available locally at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital and the Lamar County Health Department, but is limited to children, pregnant women, those with chronic health issues and healthcare officials.

Again, the number is 2-11. Questions of a more serious nature are transferred to the State Health Department.
