Calm Weather Expected for This Week

As school starts back up for most of North Texas, the skies are being generous with plenty of sunshine.

Many students are heading back to class this week across North Texas, so it's imperative that Mother Nature let us have good weather, especially for college students walking from class to class.

Thankfully, Mother Nature has agreed to let us have a few days of sunny skies this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, but showers and thunderstorms should be popping up by Thursday bringing heavy rainfall to the region.

On Friday,  the clouds should break up a bit bringing partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 90s, and then mostly sunny skies for your weekend.

What about Hurricane Isaac? The storm officially became a category 1  hurricane at around 11:30 a.m CDT on Tuesday. According to a live tweet sessionheld on Tuesday at 11 a.m CDT by the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth, North Texas will see some effect from the storm, mainly just heavy rainfall.

Stay safe.
