Camping workshop to be held at Cooper Lake

There will be a workshop held at the South Sulphur Unit at Cooper Lake State Park on Dec. 5-7.

Coming soon is a two-night family camping workshop at Cooper Lake State Park – South Sulphur Unit December 5-7.

The workshop includes a screened shelter with electricity that will provide more warmth and security. Activities will include geocaching (outdoor treasure hunt using GPS units), fishing, Dutch oven campfire cooking, animal night sounds program, campfire stories and more! All the equipment is provided and includes Park Ranger lead instruction. Each family gets their own screened shelter and a tent if they would like, restrooms with hot showers are nearby. The cost is $85 for up to 6 people.
