Candlelight vigil in Commerce for victims of violent crime

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – A candlelight vigil for victims of violent crime will be held in conjunction with the Christmas festivities in downtown Commerce tomorrow. At 6:15 tomorrow evening, a moment of silence will be observed for those that have been lost to a senseless act of violence. Anyone who has known someone who died to violent crime, or anyone that wants to support families and friends that have, is invited to attend the vigil.

Photos of the victims will be on display, and a limited amount of candles will be available. To submit a photo of someone lost to violent crime or for more information, contact Cindy Vaughn at 903.886.1132.
