Greenville – An invasive cardiovascular services program at Hunt Regional Healthcare's Greenville facility is in the works.
The hospital district's board of directors is exploring the partnership with the Baylor Health Care System. During the board's Tuesday meeting, officials discussed the capabilities of the well-regarded Baylor facility.
According to CEO Richard Carter, research conducted several months ago by Charles Franc and Associates of Dana Point, Cal., clearly demonstrated the need for cardiovascular services in this area.
The board's next meeting of the board will be Dec. 16.
