Greenville – The City of Greenville is reporting a case of rabies as a rabid skunk was recently found in the 3200 block of Henderson St.
The Animal Control Department is encouraging persons living in the area to immediately have their animals vaccinated, restrain pets and do not allow them to roam free and avoid contact with wild animals.
If you come across an animal you feel may be sick or injured you're encouraged to call the city's Animal Control Division at 903-457-2990.
