Sulphur Springs – Authorities in Rusk County have arrested a man for stealing five head of cattle from a rancher in East Texas and selling them locally.
Henry Dwight Hogg is charged with third degree felony theft after reports proved some of the brands and descriptions of the victim's cattle matched that of the cattle sold at the Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction.
Special Rangers with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association were able to confirm the brands.
