Hunt County – A gas station and fast food restaurant near the Hunt-Collin County line are destroyed following a Tuesday evening fire.
The Caddo Mills Fire Department was the first on the scene at the County Quick Mart and adjoining Subway Sandwich Shop on Highway 380. Crews from neighboring fire departments also assisted in the effort, battling the fire for at least six hours into early Wednesday.
Several explosions were heard during the fire, but no injuries were reported. None of the gas tanks caught fire. The cause of the blaze was still under investigation as of Wednesday evening.
