Celeste ISD superintendent to step down

Celeste – The top administrator at Celeste ISD is stepping down to take the same role at a Central Texas school district.

Celeste ISD Superintendent Collin Clark announced his resignation Tuesday. The Greenville Herald-Banner reports Clark will become superintendent of Cameron ISD.

Clark, who is in his 10th year as superintendent, is a former principal with the district. He graduated from Celeste High School in 1976, according to the newspaper. Clark's final day at Celeste is March 31.

Cameron ISD has approximately 1,610 students and occupies approximately 315 square miles. It's located about an hour and a half northeast of Austin.
