Commerce – Is a stricter ban on cell phones needed for Commerce ISD? Current policy prohibits students from having cell phones in their immediate possession during school hours. But does the same policy need employed for drivers in school zones?
No policy has been recommended and no action is being taken at this time. On Monday Highland Park became the first in Texas to ban cell phones while driving in school zones.
