Commerce – The executive director of the Northeast Texas Children's Museum in Commerce will be stepping down from the position next month.
Marypaz has accepted the director's post at Children's Museum at Holyoke in Massachusetts, her home state. Her final day will be in mid-June.
Marypaz has served as director of the Commerce facility for the past few years, helping bring in over 17,000 visitors last year, the best in the museum's eight year history.
The Northeast Texas Children's Museum, located on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce off Highway 50, provides a number of exhibits and activities including the recent Daddy Daughter Dance. More information is available at www.netxcm.com.
