Christmas Drive Planned For Birchwood Nursing Residents

Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Activity Director Anna Davis is announcing the plans for the Annual Christmas Drive. They will be collecting general and specific items for their residents for Christmas.

“We appreciate everything the family of Cooper and Delta County can do for our residents,” said Activity Director Anna Davis, on the Angel Tree gifts.

They are seeking donations from individuals, churches, businesses and local institutions to contribute to the quality of life of any resident by collecting the following items for their personal use: snacks, cupcakes, pudding, cookies, crackers, coffee, body spray, soap, shampoo, chapstick, after shave lotion, socks, hair bows, make-up, sweat pants, sweaters, puzzles, word find books, movies, music, stuffed animals, flowers and coloring books.

The drive last year was a huge success with baskets brought in by truck loads to the residents.

For more information contact Anna Davis at 903-422-3506.

“We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!” said Davis.
