CISD surveys say....

By Bill Oliver

Commerce, TX – Next Monday, the Commerce school board could decide whether to formally move ahead with the idea of students in standardized dress for the 2007-08 school year.

Superintendent Keith Boles said of the nearly 650 returned surveys, over 64 percent of C-I-S-D parents and 84 percent of community members supported standardized dress.

Curriculum Director Danna Myers added she knows of no administrators who regretted the decision to implement standardized dress.

Boles and Myers appeared on Talk of the Town, the Commerce cable t-v program produced by Radio-Television students at Texas A and M University-Commerce.
