COMMERCE - Keep Commerce Beautiful celebrates their third month of recycling with another event planned for this Saturday.
The bin, located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant on CR 3218, is open the first Saturday of every month. Citizens can dispose of qualifying items between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
City Manager Marc Clayton recently stated that the effort has proved to be worth wild, with citizens filling the bin each time. Keep Commerce Beautiful, along with City Sanitation and the City of Commerce are working together on the program.
