City of Paris closing in on new city manager

PARIS - Roughly three dozen candidates for city manager were presented to the Paris City Council this week, with another meeting scheduled Monday on the matter.

Chester Nolan with Keller-based Strategic Government Resources is assisting the city with the search. He tells KETR that candidates from the nationwide search come not only from Texas, but from a total of 17 states, including along the east and west coast.

Council could schedule interviews with some of the candidates as part of Monday’s meeting.

Nolan says, “We hope to have the process completed no later than May 1.”
