City seeking plan to control stray dog issue

Feb 3, 2012

LADONIA - The Ladonia City Council is inviting citizens to a public forum Monday as they explore animal control solutions.

According to a release by the city, the goal is to formulate a comprehensive plan that will offer an effective method and program for unrestrained, loose or stray dogs.

Residents have expressed their displeasure with the situation, and city officials are concerned the stray animals create unsanitary and unsightly conditions and pose a threat to people, property, and other animals.  Citizens are invited to voice their concerns and opinions on the matter.

The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Monday at Ladonia City Hall.
