City-wide cleanup in Greenville Saturday

Greenville – The City of Greenville and solid waste provider IESI will conduct a city-wide cleanup event for residents this weekend.

Under the contract between the City and IESI adopted last year, IESI provides four city-wide cleanup events each year, with another one set for this Saturday.

Residents will have the opportunity to dispose of any of a number of items, by bringing them to the IESI facility. Items that will be accepted include household trash, furniture, washers and dryers, tires and more. A complete list of acceptable unacceptable items can be found on our website, ketr dot org.

Proof of Greenville residence is required in the form of a utility bill, tax statement or driver's license showing a Greenville address.

The clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the IESI facility located at 4618 Ed Rutherford Drive.
