Greenville – The City of Greenville and solid waste provider IESI will conduct a city-wide cleanup event for residents this weekend.
Under the contract between the City and IESI adopted in June, IESI will provide four city-wide cleanup events each year including with the second such event set for this Saturday.
Residents will have the opportunity to dispose of any of a number of items, by bringing them to the IESI facility. Items that will be accepted include household trash, furniture, washers and dryers, tires and more. A complete list of acceptable unacceptable items can be found on our website, ketr dot org.
Proof of Greenville residence is required in the form of a utility bill, tax statement or driver's license showing a Greenville address.
The clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the IESI facility located at 4618 Ed Rutherford Drive.

- Stoves, Ovens and Cooktops
- Computer and Monitors
- Microwave
Items that cannot be accepted include:
- Paint
- Chemicals
- Automotive Batteries
- Pesticides
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Air Conditioners
