Commerce – The Children's Museum in Commerce has a new feature to showcase beginning tonight.
The public is invited to the opening ceremonies for the model railroad exhibit at the Northeast Texas Children's Museum, scheduled between 6 and 8 p.m. The museum is located in the Watson Center building of Texas A & M University-Commerce near the intersection of Highway 50 and Culver Street.
The layouts were recently moved from the former Katy Depot in downtown Greenville. A ribbon cutting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m., and admission to the museum is free this evening.
