Commerce – The Commerce Christmas Parade is set for this Thursday, December 7th, in Downtown Commerce. The theme this year is A Texas Christmas .
Participants will begin lining up at the Commerce City Park at 5:30 and judging will begin at 6pm Thursday. The parade will begin moving towards the downtown square at 7pm.
Santa Claus will also make his appearance in the parade and will be throwing out candy for everyone.
On the same evening, prior to the parade, the Tree lighting Ceremony and the 2nd Annual Michael Pee Wee Walker Victims of Violent Crime Vigil will be held. The Vigil will begin at 6:15 Thursday.
