COMMERCE - The Commerce Chamber of Commerce is preparing to announce the 2011 Citizen of the Year as part of Thursday’s 103rd annual awards banquet.
Other notable awards to be presented include the Golden Service Award, Distinguished Community Service Award and Agriculturalist of the Year.

Thursday’s event begins with a mixer at 5:45 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. in the Sam Rayburn Student Center on the A&M-Commerce campus.
