Commerce City Council hears concerns about Harlow Street

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce –
Richard Lawrence addressed the Commerce City Council last week concerning the conditions of Harlow Street and when or if improvements to the road would be made. Lawrence presented the council with a petition from residents along Harlow and said he was under the impression the street was slated to be improved as part of a bond package passed a few years ago.

City Manager Bill Shipp said a report detailing the progress of road improvements in Commerce will be presented to the Council after engineering information has been received on work done. Shipp said the report would likely be included in the next council meeting or the first meeting in July.
