Commerce – An undercover operation by the Sulphur Springs-Hopkins County Special Crimes Unit and the D.E.A. has landed a Commerce couple in jail. 23 year old Ryan Beddow and 20 year old Ashley Roof were taken into custody after trying to sell a large quantity of date rape drugs and ecstasy to undercover agents at a Walmart Wednesday. A third person was also taken into custody pending investigation.
The two have been charged with first degree felony drug charges.
