Commerce Hospital to Re-open

huntregional.org

After a week with no patient care or emergency services, the Hunt Regional Community Hospital in Commerce is scheduled to start taking patients again Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m.

An IRIS alert was sent out to citizens of Commerce Wednesday evening stating that the Commerce Hospital would be opening its doors to patients Wednesday night. This IRIS alert came a week after one was sent saying:

The Commerce Hospital and Emergency Room will be temporarily closing today at 6 pm due to a temporary facility issue.

That facility issue was found out to be a rodent infestation in the ceiling and attic of the hospital.

At this time, the hospital has been rid of the rodents, and has been cleaned.
