Michael Barera, a graduate of the Commerce Leadership Institute, says the CLI's annual barbecue kicking off the Bois D'Arc Bash on the downtown square at 5 p.m. Friday evening is the major fund-raising effort for the organization. CLI will also deliver barbecue sandwiches for lunch beginning at 11 a.m. The CLI educates its members about Commerce and develops new leaders for the community.
