Commerce Man Dies From Gunshot Wound From Mar. 26 Incident

The man who suffered a gunshot wound to the head during a March 26 altercation in Commerce died on March 28, according to the Commerce Police Department.

Brian Morgan, age 20, was taken to a Dallas-area hospital following the shooting during the early-morning hours of March 26 at the RACKS Club, located at 428 MLK Blvd. in Commerce. The shooting happened around 4 a.m., officials said. Morgan had been on life support since Sunday, and died shortly after being removed from life support during the night of March 28, police said.

Two other people, who have not been identified publicly, were also shot during the incident, officials said. They were treated locally and are expected to recover, police said. Another unidentified person suffered a stab wound during the same incident and is also expected to recover, they said.
