Commerce now has fine and warrant payment online

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – Commerce residents can now pay traffic tickets or outstanding warrants online. The Commerce City Council voted in regular session last week to allow the Commerce courts to begin accepting credit card payments online. There will be a 3% processing fee for all such transactions.

Judge Demetra Robinson told the council that the new availability of online payments should help anyone issued a citation quickly and easily pay their fines. Also, she said that having the easily available payment method should assist in clearing outstanding warrants for the city.

Credit card payments are made through the City of Commerce's website at www.commerce-tx.com.
