Commerce – A suspect is being sought in connection to a reported armed robbery in Commerce Sunday night.
A call to the Commerce Police Department was received at 6:53 p.m. describing the crime, which occurred at the Movie Gallery along Live Oak Street.
As of Sunday night, only one suspect was believed to be involved, and remained at large. The individual is described as a black male in his 20's, standing about 5' 11'' tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. The man at the time of the crime was wearing a black long sleeve t-shirt, a dark blue bandana, and black hat. He was carrying a black handgun which appeared to be an automatic. The man was last seen fleeing eastbound from the Movie Gallery on foot.
No one was reported injured during the incident. No information was immediately available as to any money being taken. The crime is under investigation.
