Commerce – Parents are encouraged to sign up for a new emergency notification system recently implemented by the Commerce Independent School District. Flashalert allows the district to communicate emergency and weather closures to the community even quicker than before. Those registered will be notified of any event via computer or phone within five minutes of being sent out. Registration information is available at www.commerceisd.org
