Commerce – A sex offender ordinance recently approved by the Commerce City Council goes into effect tomorrow.

The ordinance prohibits sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of a school, college, daycare facility, park or playground. It also restricts them from loitering within 300 feet of those facilities. The ordinance was approved at the Council's November 6 meeting.
