Commerce – Detectives with Commerce Police Department have positively identified the suspect from an attempted sexual assault at Wal-Mart.
The Hispanic male, whose name was not released, was detained early Wednesday on unrelated charges. He reportedly confessed to the crime during an interview with law enforcement.
The man was seen on surveillance grabbing a woman from behind and attempting to sexually assault her on September 11.
Police say there is a second victim in this case, and anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 903-886-1139.
