Commerce – Trial is set to begin today in connection with a shooting in Commerce last fall that left one man seriously injured. Jury selection is scheduled today for the trial of John Scott Thompson, who is accused of shooting a man at a residence along Oak Lane after a sexual encounter between two couples.
