Commerce – The City of Commerce this week will be spraying insecticide to help control the mosquito population. Spraying, to take place through Thursday, will begin at 7 p.m. each night. This is the second of three city-wide sprays the city will be conducting this summer.
While the product sprayed is of low toxicity to people and pets, direct contact should be avoided. Residents are advised to stay indoors when the spray truck is in your area.
One of four city sections will be sprayed each day. More information, including what section your residence falls under can be found on the city's website, commerce-tx.com.
