Commerce Superintendent search update

Commerce, TX – Consultant and retired superintendent Bruce Hood told Commerce ISD trustees several people have already expressed interest in the position. The board approved offering a minimum salary of $105,000 dollars, just over $3,000 more than the pay of recently departed Superintendent Keith Boles.

Next Tuesday, April 10th, consultants hired to recommend candidates will interview school employees and Commerce High students. The board and consultants also want to hear from CISD residents, and you have your opportunity to speak next Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. at Commerce Middle School.
