Commerce woman indicted for injury to child

By Brad Kellar

Commerce – The Hunt County Grand Jury has indicted a Commerce woman for injury to a child.

34-year-old Windy Yvonne Harle was arrested on June 10 following a reported disturbance in the 2300 block of Bois D'Arc Street.

Two married couples were said to have been arguing about a dog when Harle allegedly obtained a baseball bat and threatened the husband of the other couple, who was carrying an infant child in a carrier. During the struggle, Harle was alleged to have pulled the boy from the carrier and the child's forehead hit a concrete step.

The child was not seriously injured, however.
